if the size of India is 3.287.595 km2, and the size of the UK is 244.820 km2, that means that you could fit... 13,4 UK's in India!
However, check this out. Go to Google Maps, or any ordinary map, and see if the scale seems 13 to 1.
If you want to see a better scale of the continents, I'd suggest you to check a Peters Map projection. It is more accurate and real, and it will definitely surprise you. Especially, the size of Africa!!
